Most embarrassing moment
It is back to school time. Paul is getting over a cold, a cold?? That seems weird when it is 100 degrees outside. This is what happens: he goes outside for a minute and is covered in sweat, then he enters these freezing buildings. They keep the library and classrooms so cold (Paul took a sweat shirt to school today)! Then he sits in a cold wet shirt all day. Anyway, at the beginning of Law School Paul has been trying to make friends and get to know and associate with the students in his section. Last Friday when we picked him up he reported to have one of the most embarrassing moments ever. (If you have a weak stomach: warning you not to read on) Before class he was chatting with a group of students and started to cough. He covered his mouth and to his horror upon his last cough a big...well, let's just call it slime - came out. Now, this is a horrible thing to happen to you in class but what is even more horrible is everyone around you seeing it and totally being grossed out. He excused, upon returning he apologized and the conversation was silent. One girl tried to change the subject but that ended in more silence. Paul stepped in and got them talking about something else and nothing was mentioned again. Poor Paul! You probably are wondering why I am posting this on our blog, maybe you had a bad day...just be grateful it didn't involve snot.

Ready set...GO
I should probably open this blog with a disclaimer. After my email updates, several people encouraged me to get a blog...thanks for the encouragement. Now I know why I prolonged this occasion. This is addicting! It can be a self absorbed hobby that is entrancing. I mean, who doesn't love to talk about themselves? I sure do! I have decided to only update every once in awhile and occasionally I will inform all our friends & family of the new additions...so similar to my email updates. My time is during the kids naps and I have several books I want to read...I think that will keep me more humble than posting pictures of us everyday! We miss everyone, however Mississippi is growing on us.

Should we tell him?
First Band Aid
After 20 months of life Eden had her first big ouchy that needed a band aid. She was running and slipped on some gravel. I thought it is strange she has never had a band aid before. I'm sure this is the beginning to many, many more. She ripped it off minutes later...hopefully it won't get infected because so far no band aid has lasted more than 20 minutes. Anyway, once I gave her an otter pop her knee didn't hurt anymore!

Two little monkeys jumping in the crib
Almost all the time they get along great. When Eden takes something from David he shrieks but that doesn't stop her. Recently I walked past their room in the middle of the night and heard, "that's mine, that's mine" from Eden. Turns out she was talking in her sleep. Currently, she is going through a stage of ownership.
